Charles Leclerc helped Ferrari complete a clean sweep of P1s in Friday practice at the Hungaroring, the Monegasque overcoming a brief technical scare to set the fastest time in Free Practice 2.

Leclerc’s 1m 18.445s was the fastest lap witnessed on the Friday of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend – although the Ferrari man was just 0.217s faster than a scintillating time from McLaren’s Lando Norris in P2, the Briton clearly revelling in the kart track-esque Hungaroring track that first made its F1 debut in 1986.
